“Today’s most popular games are fast, intense, and entirely detail-driven,” said Bob Wudeck, Associate Vice President, Strategy and Business Development at BenQ America Corp. “To give gamers an edge, our RL2460HT and RL2240HE monitors were engineered alongside the world’s top professional fighting game champions to deliver the precision, speed, and market-first innovations needed to provide gamers with amazing experiences. With new game-specific settings, 1ms GTG response times, ZeroFlicker technology, and an HDMI out port on our RL2460HT, our acclaimed RL series is now packing even more of a punch.”

Now shipping, BenQ’s flagship RL2460HT is the world’s first professional gaming monitor dedicated to optimizing the high-speed gaming experience. The mind-blowing 24-inch LED backlit battle machine brings game-elevating enhancements made to crush the competition in titles such as Call of Duty®: Ghosts, StarCraft® ll: Heart of the Swarm™, League of Legends®, Defense of the Ancients™ (Dota™ 2), Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom® 3, and Mortal Kombat®. Co-developed with fighting game legend Justin “JWong” Wong of Evil Geniuses, the monitor’s new Fighting Mode enables gamers to highlight battle characters with special colors — improving focus and precision during high-stakes combat scenes. BenQ is also unleashing its brazen black and yellow RL2240HE monitor. Specifically suited to RTS gameplay, the bold-looking 21.5-inch LED backlit monitor has been fine-tuned to provide the vital visibility and commands needed during strategy-led strikes.

To reliably record, stream, and broadcast gaming feats to global online audiences without any game play disruptions, the RL2460HT now features a built-in HDMI output, which eliminates the risk of system input lag and delay by allowing for action to be captured after rather than prior to going through the monitor. As a result, latency is eradicated to provide uncompromised streaming while also enabling easy head-to-head setup capabilities for multiplayer games using a single screen — giving gamers a solid combination of game play supremacy and setup satisfaction.

Providing an ultra-smooth experience, both the RL2460HT and RL2240HE gaming monitors feature ultra-fast 1ms GTG response times while BenQ’s advanced RevolutionEyes technology, including ZeroFlicker™ capabilities, provide exceptional monitor performance — improving eSports enthusiasts’ visual comfort during competitive action and long gaming sessions. The monitors also bring gamers BenQ’s Black eQualizer, which enables total gaming visibility by allowing players to adjust brightness without over-exposing white levels, revealing critical combat details with improved visibility in darkened areas. Low Blue Light technology also removes up to 70 percent of blue spectrum light to protect gamers’ eyes during extended periods of play without affecting picture quality.

To personalize monitor disposition, the RL2460HT lets gamers easily adjust display height using an integrated precision scale system, which rapidly sets up the monitor to predefined settings. Both devices come with Display Pilot software, which offers users direct access to game-specific display settings for a truly optimized gaming experience. To further accommodate individual viewing preferences, Display Mode allows gamers to switch between nine monitor screen sizes from 17-inch (4:3) to 24-inch widescreen, while Smart Scaling enables players to adjust the screen’s content on-the-fly to virtually any custom size without impacting controller sensitivity.

Available now, BenQ’s RL2460HT and RL2240HE gaming monitors retail at $249 and $189 respectively.
